Our mission is to acquire and redevelop underutilized real estate to deliver affordable homes and access to services to those in our community most underserved by our current infrastructure and most likely to be displaced by market forces.

The State of Minnesota is an increasingly diverse state. We are home to people of racial, ethic and cultural backgrounds from all over the world including Black, Native/Indigenous, Latine, Asian, and other POC communities. Yet in spite of having strong economy with a high median income, many members of these communities live with economic hardship. This hardship is reflected in the disproportionately high number of Black and Brown Minnesotans who are chronically housing insecure or homeless and lack access to other basic needs including healthcare, transportation, and education.
This is because in spite of our diversity and our strong economy, Minnesota is home to some of the largest racial income and wealth disparities in the country. In a state with large racial income and wealth gaps, investment can become a driver of displacement when those investments are tailored to serve a wealthier base of people.
At ACMN properties, we work to invest in a way that economically empowers our Black and Brown communities, especially those struggling with addiction, mental illness, and disabilities, by creating housing and commercial services that address unmet need
